Our Process
The IDS team focuses on the creative integration of the varied components of land planning. We believe that creative, cohesive, and sustainable results are achieved through the integration of team members, clients, and stakeholders into all phases of the design process, from site analysis, to conceptual design, through final graphic product.
IDS serves not only as a designer, but as a facilitator to synthesize information, lead the process, and create the product. This integration is achieved by involving the client, designer, partner firms, and graphic production into each stage of planning. By facilitating participation in each step of the process, we are able to achieve clear benefits for our clients, site users and communities.
Our design teams consist of the IDS staff, in addition to the ìIDS Partner firms.î This collective team of qualified professionals expands our capabilities and adds creative energy to our integrated process. Our partner firms consists of architects, landscape architects, green building consultants, graphic artists, engineers, interior designers, and marketing/branding specialists.
